Thoughts One Week After First Treatment
It’s been a little over a week since my first treatment. I’ve had some soreness and bruising on the flanks and a bit of swelling. I also felt numb and sensitive – a bit like when your foot falls asleep and you touch it – you don’t feel the touch 100% but yet it’s still sensitive (minus the needle sensations). The Dermaka cream helps – I’m a big fan of Arnica for sore muscles and bruises.
Me Five Years Ago
We all know that life gets in the way of our health goals. Jobs, family, traveling and all those pesky
unexpected holidays – ha ha…. The last 5 years have been my most challenging as far as health and
I wanted to share where I was 5 years ago and, well – you can see in the blog of where I am now. My
Coolsculpting goal is to shape my body back a few years.
Exercising and Eating
Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had weight fluctuations. Even as a child it seemed to be a constant issue. Up 40, down 20, down 10, up 20… I’m an avid exerciser and am on the move 5-6 days a week. Walking, jogging and the gym are always on rotation.
However, I’m a terrible eater – the wrong food, large portions, sweets and wine. So, in addition to my Coolsculpting journey, which is going to shape my body, I’m going to be addressing my eating habits too by tracking calories and eating clean. I did a little test last week with tracking and discovered that I’m averaging 2000-2200 calories a day – YIKES! There will be results from all directions and I’m motivated 🙂
Thin vs. Shapely
My comfort weight is about 40 lbs lighter than I am now, but even when I am at that weight, I have bulgy areas. Everyone knows what I’m talking about! The abdomen is hard to shape no matter what weight you’re at or how much you work out. The love handles and the lower abdomen pooch are the worst areas for me. That’s where Coolsculpting comes in. Bulgy areas bye-bye!!
